2023 Instructor Position (Adult Lessons) – Yukon Breeze Sailing Society
Start Date: June 5, 2023
End Date: August 13, 2023
Hours per week: 12-20 hours a week on evenings and some weekends
Wage: $25 – $30 per hour (depending on experience)
Required Certifications:
● Current Standard First Aid & CPR C certification (needed before start date)
● Pleasure Craft Operators Card (needed before start date)
● Completed CANSail 1&2 and/or CANSail 3&4 Instructor Course (Trained or Certified)
● Sail Canada Instructor Registration for 2023 (would be considered an asset)
Minimum Required Qualifications:
● previous experience coaching sailing
● strong organizational and planning skills
● strong leadership qualities
● strong communication skills
● previous work teaching or instructing adults (would be considered an asset)
● A criminal record check with a vulnerable sector screening is a condition of employment.
