Sailing Instructors – Kitsilano Yacht Club

 

Kitsilano Yacht Club is a small community club in Vancouver which offers quality, affordable and accessible sailing lessons and camps for our members and local community using Optimists, Picos, Lasers and Club 420s.  KYC offers summer camps for children and teens, Learn to Sail with your Child lessons, as well as a variety of adult sailing lessons and race team training for all ages from Spring through Fall.

 

We are looking for skilled, responsible and passionate Sailing Instructors and Coaches who want to inspire students of all ages and skill levels.  Coaching options include summer camps for children and teens, Learn to Sail with your Child lessons, as well as a variety of adult sailing lessons and race team training for all ages from Spring through Fall.

 

The ideal candidates will hold the following qualifications: CANSail Trained or Certified, with PCOC, First Aid with CPR/AED-C, Coach Boat safety, ROC-M, and be a team player.

 

Both full-time and part-time positions in line with your experience and interests are available with the earliest full-time position starting in May.  Competitive wages commensurate with experience, training and certifications.  Must be legally able to work in Canada and eligible for Canada Summer Jobs Grant program.
