Rocky Point Sailing Association – Fall 2024 Race Team Coach
Position Title: Race Team Coach The Rocky Point Sailing Association is looking for passionate and experienced coaches to join our Fall 2024 Race Team. Our program focuses on developing young sailors across the ILCA (Laser), Optimist, and Club 420 classes. We are seeking coaches who not only have race experience in these fleets but are also eager to mentor and inspire the next generation of sailors.
Our race team program runs from September through November, offering training sessions and regatta participation. As a coach, you’ll play a key role in developing technical skills, tactical knowledge, and fostering a team environment that prioritizes sportsmanship, skill development, and long-term participant engagement.

● Race experience in the ILCA (Laser), Optimist, and/or Club 420 classes.
● Current Sail Canada CANSail instructor certification (or higher) and valid prerequisites.
● Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
● Strong communication skills, a passion for coaching, and the ability to work well within a team. Program Details:
