Important Notice | We ask that all clubs submit racing calendars to BC Sailing so that we can provide our members with a comprehensive list of regattas and events taking place throughout the province during the 2024 sailing season.

BC Sailing Long Distance Championships
BC Sailing is pleased to announce the inaugural BC Sailing Offshore and Long Distance Racing Championships. The championship will comprise a series of some of the most challenging Category 3 offshore races BC has to offer.
BC has some of the most complex long distance, tactical and navigational problems the world has to offer. These races are guaranteed to challenge the most hardened sailors. The champions at each level will be recognized in the fall at the BC Sailing Fall Summit.

2024 Amendments to World Sailing Category 3 Monohull Offshore Special Regulations with Canadian Prescriptions 2022–2023
Important Notice | in 2024, representatives from BC’s four OSR Category 3 races created this common amendements document to simplify the safety requirements of these races: Southern Straits (WVYC), Blackline Patos Island (SNSYC), Swiftsure (RVicYC), Cascadian Convoy (CFSA). Please refer to the racing documents and websites of each race for more specific requirements.
