Fees are due after receipt of a test certificate and prior to issuance of official certificate. Payments can be made by e-transfer to crew@bcsailing.bc.ca.
2026 Fees:
Club Certificate Renewal or New: $130
Club Amendment: $110
International Certificate Renewal or New: $200
International Amendment: $150
Note: 2026 fees include a custom ORC Speed Guide and a Double Handed certificate

Measurement Services
Upon receipt of application, the Rating Officer will advise what measurements are recommended and put you in contact with an ORC Measurer.
ORC Sailor Services
A free service, registration is required. Provides access to ORC Certificate database, Test Certificates, Speed Guides, Target Speeds, generation of Scratch Sheets, ORC Scorer scoring software and IMS Editor software. IMS Editor is useful for managing your sail inventory and for comparing two boat’s VPP data.

How to Generate Test Certificates:
1. Log into Sailor Services
2. Purchase Credits at this Link (10 credits are required to run a Test Certificate)
3. Under Search for Certificates to locate boat
4. Under Search Results select the “+” button to add the boat the “My Boats”
5. Under My Boats select the boat to run a test certificate
6. Select Edit data and Measurements
7. Make your edits (Note that by selecting the Sailboat icon on the right a diagram of the sail will be displayed)
8. Change Record Name at top of screen to “Boat Name Test 1”
9. Save Changes (bottom left)
10. Select “Request a test Club Certificate”
