2021 Bluenose Regatta
Bluenose Regatta – November 6th and 7th 2021
Bluenose is scheduled for the 2021 season, we will be following COVID-19 Public Health Office restrictions including masks on while inside. All participants must adhere to KYC and Provincial COVID protocols
Bluenose is an event for the following classes: 29ers, 420s, RS Feva, Laser Full Rig, Laser Radial, Laser 4.7.
Other participating fleets include 505 and Cal 20, and Optimist classes – Red, Blue, White and Green.

The KYC Executive Committee take this opportunity to invite members and guests to participate in the Regatta, if not as a sailor then please make yourself available to help in one of the many volunteer positions.
The first Bluenose Regatta, sailed in 1988, and was limited to Lasers, in 2016 Bluenose was added to the BC Sailing Circuit.
With the regatta now open to multiple classes, sailors will have different levels of experience and there will be many junior sailors. There will be a catered dinner on the Saturday night with a casual, family friendly menu and lots of hot chocolate (with marshmallows) to warm everyone up!
