Head Sailing Instructor – Squamish Yacht Club
The Squamish Yacht Club is seeking a Head Sailing Instructor to lead our Learn to Sail program from June to August 2026. Spend your summer coaching on the water in Squamish!
Location: Squamish, BC
Term: Seasonal contract, June–August 2026
Reports to: Learn to Sail Committee / Training Officer
Supervises: 2 Junior Instructors, 1-2 Youth volunteers
Pay: $25–$35 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications and accommodation support required.
Job summary: Built around wind and water, Squamish offers consistently big breeze on the Sound and big adventure off it. Squamish Yacht Club is hiring a Head Sailing Instructor to lead our Learn to Sail program and deliver a fun, safe, and inclusive youth sailing experience. This role is ideal for an instructor who enjoys a hands-on summer camp environment, takes pride in engaging session planning and can lead a small team with confidence and positivity.
