Job Overview
The Adult Sailing Instructor plays a versatile and vital role within RVYC’s spring and summer programs, delivering high-quality instruction to adult
sailors in the Adult Sailing Program. This position requires a well-rounded coach who is confident teaching all roles aboard small keelboats such as RVYC’s Elliott 6Ms and can adapt instruction to meet the needs of all students.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical sailing knowledge, clear and effective communication skills, and the ability to foster a safe, positive, and development-focused learning environment for participants of all ages.
