BC Wazp sailors competing in Kingston, Ontario!
6 BC Sailors competed in 2 foiling Wazp regattas in Kingston Ontario, the Wazp Americas Regatta followed by the Wazp Canadian Championships. Matthew Stranaghan led the way with a 3rd place in the Wazp Americas Regatta.

Foil Kingston Regatta
World Sailing Youth Qualifier for the kite foil class. In a close fought regatta, Nathan Pearce from North Vancouver finished 4th and first place youth qualifying for the World Sailing Youth Championships this December in Brasil. This will be Nathan’s second Youth Worlds regatta. Emily Bugeja finished in 10th.
IQ Foil Youth Windsurfers
2 sailors travelled to Rhode island to compete in their first IQ foil windsurf event. Thomas Hung finished 11th and qualified for Youth Worlds with Efe Taylan finishing 14th. Meanwhile Simon Fauser competed in the IQ Foil Jr Europeans finishing in 133rd as a U 15 competing in U 17.
