Nathan Pearce Gold at 2025 IKA Youth European Championship & Formula Kite Grand Prix

Congratulations to Nathan Pearce who won the gold medal in the U17 category at the 2025 IKA Youth European Championship & Formula Kite Grand Prix 2025 held June 30-July 6 in Gizzeria, Italy.

 

Nathan Pearce finished first out of 14 U17 athletes, and was the only U17 sailor to qualify for the gold fleet.

 

In the overall ranking, including U17, U19 and U21 athletes, Nathan Pearce took the 21st position out of 43 participants.
Also representing Canada was Claire Ramsey, who sailed to an impressive 12th place finish in the Women’s U21 division — a strong result in a highly competitive international fleet.

 

We’re incredibly proud of both athletes for pushing hard and representing BC and Canada with grit and determination. Congratulations!
