Sailing Director – Royal Victoria Yacht Club
Position Overview
The Sailing Director will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Club’s sailing and boating programs.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Sailing Director will be responsible for operational delivery, continuous improvement, and ongoing innovation in programs that introduce people to sailing and support member participation in recreational boating, competitive sailing, and ongoing education across the spectrum of the Sail Canada LTD Framework. They will play a key leadership role in fostering a culture of safety, excellence, proactive asset management, volunteer engagement, and lifelong participation in boating activities.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary: $78,000-83,000 annually, commensurate with experience. RVYC offers a comprehensive benefits package including:
